PARKING & TRAVEL

Location:

Summit I-90 Ski Area: Free parking is available near the start line at the Summit I-90 Ski Area. This location is approximately a 10-minute walk from the start line at the Hyak Trail Head.

Location:

Hyak Trailhead: Paid parking is available at the Hyak Trailhead for a $10 day use fee. This parking is free for Washington Discover Pass holders.

Service:

From Finish Line to Start Line: Shuttle buses will transport runners from the finish line back to the start line parking areas. Buses will run every 30-45 minutes starting around 10 AM.

From Hyak:

Exit the parking lot and turn left onto NF-906.
At the stop sign, turn left onto WA-906 North.
Drive 0.4 miles and turn right to follow signs for I-90.
Take the ramp for I-90 west to Seattle.
From I-90 west, take Exit 38 for SE Homestead Valley Road.
At the bottom of the ramp, turn left onto SE Homestead Valley Road.
Drive under the freeway and turn right to stay on SE Homestead Valley Road.
Park anywhere along SE Homestead Valley Road and walk up the dirt road about 1 mile.
The finish line is located about 0.2 miles from the Iron Horse Trail crossing.

From Seattle/North Bend:

Take I-90 eastbound.
Take Exit 38 for SE Homestead Valley Road.
At the bottom of the ramp, turn right and follow SE Homestead Valley Road for 1.8 miles.
Park along SE Homestead Valley Road and walk up the dirt road about 1 mile to the finish line.

Note: Do not attempt to drive up the dirt road to park closer to the finish line. This is a runner safety issue.

Arrive Early: Arrive early to secure a parking spot and allow time to walk to the start line.
Follow Directions: Follow the directions provided and adhere to parking signs and volunteer instructions.
Shuttle Schedule: Familiarize yourself with the shuttle schedule to ensure timely transportation back to your vehicle.
